Honey Bee is a short visual poem which reflects on memory and the moments in life that mark us and hold us back. The “moment” for the lead character happens to be a school shooting, so very relevant to our current world (unfortunately).
**Please Note: There will be NO Guns on set.
The available roles include:
IDENTICAL TWINS, Age 8 – 11 (real twins only)
Young Katie – Female
Identical twin to Zelda. Carefree. Free Spirit. Energetic. Playful. Precocious. Enjoys getting wet under a sprinkler, loves to run through flowers.
Young Zelda – Female
Identical twin to Katie. Energetic. Reserved, yet still playful. Enjoys getting wet under a sprinkler, loves to run through flowers.
IDENTICAL TWINS, Age 14 -19 (real twins only)
Teenage Katie – Female
Older version of Young Katie and Identical twin to Zelda. Carefree. Fun. High School cheerleader. She loves to practice cheers, do handstands and cartwheels. Typical teen.
Teenage Zelda – Female
Older version of Young Zelda and Identical twin to Katie. Disciplined. Tightly-wound, but still fun. High School cheerleader. Athletic. Typical teen.
