Auditions in Toronto Canada for Student Film

Student Film “Brother From The Same Mother Who Hate Each Other”

Location: 543 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON

Audition / Call Type: Films

I’m holding another round of auditions for my student short film next Monday, December 5 from 2:30 PM to 6:15 PM. I have gotten many responses for the role of Tony, but nobody auditioned for Mom, now known as the “Parental Figure” which can be played by anyone of any gender and height, as long as you’re over 35.

The film is still about two brothers, Al and Tony (ages 17 and 18 respectively), who don’t get along too well, but their parental figure is determined to make them get along with each other, yet the parental figure’s efforts are in vain.

Like the character of Mom in my previous casting call, they are the parental figure to Al and Tony. They try their best to make the two brothers get along with each other, but doesn’t realize the severity of their children’s relationship with each other. You must be over 35 years old to play this character.

Younger actors between the ages of 18 and 28 are still welcome to try for the role of Tony, who is the 18 year old brother of Al (his younger brother), who he very much despises from Al’s irresponsible childlike nature, contrasting with Tony’s responsibilities around the house.

You must be from Toronto and its surrounding suburbs in order to audition for the role.
