Synopsis: Gina and her estranged boyfriend Jacob embark on a vacation to Charleston, SC, in an attempt to mend their relationship. Their plans take an unexpected turn when Gina is confronted by a figure from her past.

Roles:
GINA/ANCESTOR:
- 24-year-old African American female with beautiful dark skin and long natural hair. Gina is a stylish hairstylist. The ANCESTOR is a historical figure from the Jola tribe in Gambia. Fashionable, culturally connected.
JACOB:
- 27-year-old African American male with a slim athletic build. He works in IT but struggles with his career and exhibits immature behavior. Ambitious yet immature, trying to find his path.
KYRIE:
- 30-year-old African American male with an athletic build; tall, dark, and handsome. Kyrie is an intelligent museum director. Charismatic, knowledgeable.
DETECTIVE:
- 40-50-year-old African American male or female, dedicated to their job. Professional, methodical.
SLAVE TRADER:
- 50-60-year-old male of European or Portuguese descent, with long/matted hair. Sinister, historical figure.
