A project using the working title “Stickshift” is in need of paid background actors.
This movie, which is described as a heist film, began production last year and was delayed, like many other movies, by the industry strikes that finally came to an end early this year. The casting director on this project is Lillian Pyles, who was working on this same project, filming in Ohio, around this time last year, when the strikes began and delayed most of the larger productions that were scheduled to film last summer and fall.
The Cleveland film office posted the following information about the paid extras jobs available for the movie. Information from last year states that this is a movie that will be released on the Hulu streaming platform and distributed by Disney. Another pretty big movie is also currently filming in Cleveland, Ohio, the new Superman flick that has a release date of 2025.

For residents of the Cleveland, Ohio area who would like to work on set, the casting directors have setup a form that folks wanting to land a paid movie extras gig, can fill out online in order to be considered to fill various small roles in the movie. Please note that these are roles for paid background actors only and as with most paid extras jobs, travel expenses will not be covered so you must be a local to Cleveland in order to be considered.

Lillian Pyles Casting is currently seeking actors for multiple background roles for the Feature-Length High-Budget Subscription Video On Demand Program, STICKSHIFT, to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures intended for initial release on Hulu.
This production will be filmed in Cleveland, Ohio. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN ETHNICITY. It is very important to not re-submit if you already did previously. Your first submission is currently in our database and being considered.
