New Spike Lee Joint Movie Holding Open Call in New York

Open casting call in New York for upcoming Spike Lee project.

There will be an open casting call in Brooklyn for paid background actors.  The project is seeking all ages and all ethnicities to fill a variety of small, non speaking roles.

Spike Lee, the acclaimed filmmaker known for his bold storytelling that is infused with social commentary, has a rich history spanning decades of diverse projects. From his groundbreaking debut feature “She’s Gotta Have It” in 1986, which challenged conventional narratives of black sexuality, to his powerful exploration of racial tensions in “Do the Right Thing” (1989), Lee has consistently pushed boundaries and sparked important conversations.
