The Iconic Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders are holding open, online auditions not just nationwide, but globally. Yes, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders will consider international candidates.

If you have always dreamed of being an NFL cheerleader, here is a chance to audition for the Dallas Cowboys. Dancers, get ready for your chance to join the iconic Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and actually, you do not actually have to live in the Dallas, Texas area or even be in the United States.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are taking submissions from dancers nationwide, and globally, who would love a chance to join the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader squad. There is some stiff competition for the coveted spots and online auditions are being taken through the 12th of this month. The online auditions are open to dancers nationwide.

Applicants are required to submit a photo along with a 60-second dance video. Those who advance to the final round will receive an invitation to compete at The Star in Frisco on June 15, 2024. With only 36 spots available, competition is fierce for aspiring cheerleaders vying for a coveted spot on the team. The audition process, known for its rigorous standards including kick lines, backstories, and dance solos, will be featured on a new Netflix series set to premiere this summer.

A director for the cheerleader squad actually shared a bit of advice for those aspiring to make the squad: “Be prepared, not only in the form of dance, of course take every dance class you can,” Director Kelli Finglass, said as advice to aspiring dancers, but also “Practice at other auditions and dance competitions. Video tape yourself. There is so much information now, online. There is no secret to who makes our team and who doesn’t. Be prepared in every facet.”

A few things to note:

You must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of the preliminary auditions with, of course proof.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders may be asked to participate in international travel. Please note that for those advancing beyond the first and second rounds, check-in at Finals in Frisco, Texas on June 15th is with a passport or driver’s license and proof of application for passport. (All candidates are expected to have a passport by July 1st.)
International Applicants

They welcome international candidates! If applicable, please work through the US consulate/embassy in your home country to obtain the proper visa for audition travel. If selected, you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America. We reserve the right to sponsor international candidates.

Those invited to Training Camp will have options for housing within the DFW area for the summer.

There is a pay schedule for rehearsals, home football games, promo appearances and shows.
