NBC’s Chicago shows are now filming the 2025/26 season.

Casting Call: Extras Needed for Upcoming Episodes of Chicago P.D. (2025/2026 season)

The hit NBC series Chicago P.D. is gearing up to film new episodes for its 2025/2026 season and is currently seeking extras to fill various non-speaking roles. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a major TV production, now is your chance to step into the action!

Chicago P.D., known for its intense storylines and gritty portrayal of law enforcement in the Windy City, films on location in Chicago. The series, created by Emmy-winning producer Dick Wolf, known for his work on iconic series such as Law & Order.

The casting team is looking for local talent who are available to work on set soon. No prior acting experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in exploring the world of television production.

Chicago PD Background Casting Notice.

We’re collecting submissions for Episode 13020 of Chicago PD. Featured and director-selected roles will be posted separately.
FOR GENERAL SUBMISSIONS: PLEASE USE THE GOOGLE FORM, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. We open every single email submission and manually transfer your info and availability to a spreadsheet, so we strongly encourage you to use the form instead of emailing your submission. If you receive an error message, please try the following troubleshooting tips:
• Clear your cache / cookies (if you use Safari)
• Try using Chrome
• Try using a laptop instead of a phone

This submission form is for general background roles, which means they’re open to any gender, any ethnicity, ages 18 and older WITHIN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA (2 hrs of Chicago). You must have graduated from high school and not be attending classes at the time of submission. We may have roles for high school aged kids, which will be posted separately.
General background roles pay $132.80/8. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. No red or white vehicles, please.

You can submit via email, however, it is preferred that you use the Google form. Please only submit 1 way / 1 time. You do not need to use the availability form and send an email. Please choose one or the other.

•MALES: Coat/jacket, t-shirt, neck/sleeve length, waist x inseam, shoe

– PHOTOS: Please submit a headshot or a full length photo that reflects your current look/hairstyle. DO NOT APPLY FILTERS, DO NOT SEND A PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT.
– TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a short sleeve t-shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS. **If you submit via the Google form, we will reach out to obtain your tattoo photos at the time of booking.
-AVAILABLE DATES: Please list all available dates between Friday 3/6 and Tuesday 3/17. We do not film on weekends (M-F only). Call times are usually early in the morning (unless otherwise noted) and filming days typically last 8-12 hours. Do not submit availability for the day if you have any time constraints.
