Bright Sun Productions are holding auditions Saturday, May 7th from 1-4 in Washington, DC for the main characters for the independent feature film Revenge on a Ghost.
Shooting will take place four weekend days of each month between June and early September.
Character descriptions and film website are below. Actors will receive IMDB credit, a dvd copy of the film and any pay will come on the backend once a distribution deal is obtained.

Casting:
Mark Dixon: Mark is in his early to mid 20’s, athletic, and from a working-class background. He has returned home from a tour in Iraq with the National Guard, and suffers from PTSD. He is a neat freak and a functioning alcoholic. This is a lead role for an actor with significant emotional range, who can play from open and loving to resigned and cold. This actor is required for 95% of the shooting dates, and transportation can be arranged for this actor.
Zorah Dixon: Zorah is in her mid 20’s to early 30’s, and has a middle class background. She is organized and fit. She is married to Marx Dixon and they met while she working as a JAG lawyer in Iraq. Zorah now works as a nonprofit lawyer in DC. Like Mark, she suffers from PTSD, but unlike him, Zorah attends counseling. This is a co-lead role.
John Johnson: John is in his late 20’s to late 30’s. He is well read, works as a substitute teacher and writes for a politically progressive blog. John shares a son with Monica Martí.
Monica Marti: Monica is in her late 20’s to mid 30’s. She is corporate, Catholic, and a single mother. Shares a son with John Johnson.
Malik Bahrani: Malik is in his late 20’s-early 40’s. He is an Iraqi lawyer. He was educated in the UK (Oxford/Cambridge). Sophisticated, Pro-American and is fluent in Arabic and English. Has relationship with Zorah in Iraq.
