It’s that time of the year when beautiful hopefuls put their best foot forward and vie for the Miss Guyana UK 2013 crown. The Pageant will be held at the end of November this year.
The nineteen year old pageant is calling for applications from young women aged 17-25 who are of Guyanese heritage to contest for the chance to take on the mantle of ambassadorship to meet the aims of the Miss Guyana UK Pageant. Applications Close on the 10th of October.
Miss Guyana UK Pageant is the brainchild of Ms Felicia Benjamin who became interested in proliferating the legacy of the five races in Guyana nineteen years ago and decided to foster and build community bridges across ethnicities. Her vision was to positively encourage women to build self esteem and confidence by promoting beauty and charitable works.
Our continued work is made possible by generous donations and pledges to sponsor and motivate more young ladies to participate and continue to perform the important role we play in our community.
