The new Sony TV series “Powers” is looking for some extra power.
The show’s casting directors at CL have released another casting call for the show with colorful role titles such as “Happy Power“, “Blurred Power” and “Heavily Tattooed Power“. There are a variety of male roles open which you can check out below. Some of these are multi-day bookings and the filming dates differ according to the roles.
The new Sony show will be premiering on the Playstation platform this winter. The series will be made available to Sony’s millions of PS users and will be available for free to PS Plus subscribers.
“Powers”, created by Bendis and Oeming was a popular comic about a world where superpowers are not all that uncommon. Sharlto Copley will star as Christian Walker, an ex-superhero turned police detective. He is joined by Michelle Forbes who will be playing his right hand lady Deena Pilgrim. In “Powers” super powers are no all that uncommon. Christian Walker lost his in a battle but didn’t let his lack of super powers prevent him from doing what he loves, kickin bad guy butt. In the series, Walker investigates crimes that are committed by super villains.
The show films in Atlanta and is only accepting submissions from talent that are local to the area.
