Reality dating show for singers
“Sing Date“ is coming to the US, well at least trying to and they are now holding auditions in Los Angeles for the TV pilot. The musical dating show from Sky in the UK may be coming to to US networks and the show is casting singles…. who may be able to sing! The show which first aired in 2012 on Sky Living is a reality dating show with a twist, the dates are chosen from videos of the singles singing. A date gets picked from the videos and the pair later get to sing a song together on air to see if… well, they can make beautiful music together.
Sky’s TV description of the show states that “Sing Date” combines the force of Internet dating with the power of song. On a musical mission to find their perfect partner, singing singletons will duet to a karaoke track via their home webcam.”
Not sure of the pilot will follow the same format, but it may be fun to find out and maybe even meet your sweetheart on a sing date.
