The new season of “Vampire Diaries” is currently filming in the Atlanta area.
The shows extras casting directors are seeking background actors to work in the Decatur area this coming Friday as well as some other days for the season 6 finale of the show. They are seeking people between the ages of 25 and 40. The show is especially interested in talent that has not yet worked on the series.
The series was developed for the CW Network by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The “Vampire Diaries” TV series is based on the novels by L. J. Smith. “Vampire Diaries“ is now filming season 6. There is also a spin-off of the “Vampire Diaries” called ‘The Originals” which is also currently filming in the Atlanta area as well.
“Vampire Diaries” stars Nina Dobrev as Elena, a woman who falls for Stefan, a vampire and ends up in a love triangle between herself, Stefan and his brother. During the “Vampire Diaries” season 5 finale, her newer love, Damon, met his death and recent spoilers for the show suggest that upcoming episodes may involve Elena trying to bring Damon back to life or do something drastic to join him in death.

We will shoot 2-3 non-consecutive days between Wednesday, April 1st and Tuesday, April 14th.
Must be available to work Thursday, April 2nd in Decatur, GA. We will work a full 12hrs. Please do not submit if you don’t have full availability for Thursday.
(We will be needing a few to work Wednesday, April 1st, so please note if you are available in your submission.)
Must be available for FITTING on Monday, March 30th or Tuesday, March 31st in Decatur.
Must be okay with getting “bloody” and lying on the floor.
Our extra rate is $60/8;overtime after 8hrs — with an additional fitting and blood bump.
