We are casting a short film about a psychiatrist, Graham, who has recently lost his lover, Toni, to a hate crime. It’s in the realm of art-house film with a shoe-string budget. A powerful script with some great acting opportunities.
The pay will range according to our fundraising, but the pay will be minimum with the possibility of some of the secondary roles going unpaid, though our goal is for all roles to have some kind of compensation. We have cast Graham, and these are the parts available to audition for:
TONI: Male, 20-26. Graham’s former, deceased lover. A very fantastical character, being the best parts of Toni living on with Graham.
JACK: Male, 12-15. Patient of Graham’s psychiatric practice, struggling with loneliness and depression.
REBECCA/ROBERT: Female, 20-30. Good friends with Graham. Just got fired for taking hormones for gender change.
