This is a play dealing with the topic of self harm. It centers around a talented ballet dancer named Abby who must confront the pressures put on her by her mother Sarah who is determined to control her life. A former cutter and prostitute, Sarah is also forced to face her own demons and hypocrisy as she learns that her daughter Abby is going down the same path that she was on 20 years ago. Tormented by newly formed wounds and ones thought to be healed, both Sarah and Abby have to understand the hard way what Gods unconditional love truly is.

Mark – (25-60) an easygoing piano teacher and husband of Sarah that is in his early 50’s
LIBBY – (18-25) Joan’s friend who spends most of her time focused on herself and talking on her iPhone.
