The Pursuit of Freedom is a modern take on Romeo and Juliet in today’s political climate. Ally is a woman torn between her conservative father and her lover Javier an illegal immigrant.
Auditions are at SDSU Love Library August 4rh 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. We are accepting online submissions.

ROLES
Ally [20s] Modern Day Juliet. Sticks by her romance and stays firm in her beliefs
Javier [20s] Mexican/Mexican American preferred. He’s the dutiful Romeo who finds himself in trouble with a police officer.
Mr Davis [40s] Ally’s father. A cold hearted widower who’s grief has made him suspicious of all people. It doesn’t help in his line of work as a police officer.
