Open Casting Call for “Superman VS. Batman” Announced in MI

Open Casting call for “Superman V. Batman” or “Batman V. Superman”…. whatever we are calling the Superman sequel!

We’ve all been waiting for this and here it is…

The Michigan film office just announced the event with a line adding… “no costumes please”! Go figure.

So no one is probably sure which superhero name comes first in the title and I’m sure fans of both may argue that for sometime, however this is supposed to be the sequel to the “Man of Steal”. IMDB reports that the sequel will star Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman (which has been stirring up some controversy on the social media scene) and or course Wonder Woman will be introduced in this flick as well which will be played by Gal Gadot. We will also see Lex Luthor played by Jesse Eisenberg, and the wonderful, Diane Lane is cast to play Martha Kent. Alfred is supposed to be played by veteran actor Jeremy Irons and Perry White eill be the character for Lawrence Fishburne.

The film begins production this coming June in the Detroit area and rumor has it that filming will also be coming to Illinois as well.

The event will be held on April 27th and they are expecting quite a large crowd. Those coming need to prepare to wait in line. Unfortunately, this casting call is for adults only. Those who would like to submit their children are asked to please bring a photo of their child only…. and not the child.

The film will be in production in Detroit for 5+ months, so sure there will be other casting calls as production starts for lots of other roles.

So not much has been revealed about the plot but cinemablend thinks it may go something like this…

When Warner Bros. announced at Comic-Con that they would be moving forward with a Superman/Batman movie, they didn’t include a plot synopsis telling us what the movie is about – but titles for the film mentioned by Goyer suggest that the film will have Superman and Batman at each other’s throats.
