Fox “Gotham” Casting Call for Kids / Teens in NYC

Fox’s Batman inspired series “Gotham” is filming in NYC and casting kids / teens ages 12 to 15 in the area.

The show is filming the new season and needs kids to play prep school students in a scene filming this coming Monday. Casting directors at Grant Wilfley are seeking kids available Monday and have specific attire (see below) that they could wear to play prep school kids.

“Gotham” is now filming season 2 which is set to premiere on September 21st. The new season of “Gotham” is being called “Rise of the Villains”. While season 1 introduced a good amount of Batman series villains, season 2 is supposed to really bring it with the introduction of Mr. Freeze, The Joker and according to Variety, Victor Zsasz, Tigress and the Ogre.

“Gotham” is the back story of Jim Gordon and the people that would become the super villains we are all familiar with. In the series, Gordon is a rising detective in the very corrupt Gotham City. Gordon is determined to prove himself and put a dent in the city’s crime rate. Joining Gordon is his partner, Detective Harvey Bullock. After the high profile murders of billionaires Thomas and Martha Wayne, Gordon befriends their young son Bruce Wayne and forms a bond with the orphan who will grow up in the corrupt, crime stricken city to become Batman.

“The Other Woman: My Mother-in-Law” – Auditions for Musical, Paid Performers in Orlando

San Diego Theater Auditions for “Heaven on Earth”

Sledgehammer Theatre Presents: “Heaven on Earth” by Charles Mee in association with La Jolla Playhouse

Sledgehammer Theater, in association with La Jolla Playhouse, is casting the west coast premiere of “Heaven on Earth” by Charles L. Mee. The site-specific production will be presented as part of the 2015 WOW (Without Walls) Festival on the University of California, San Diego campus in La Jolla, October 8-11, 2015. Stipends provided for all performers. Rehearsals will begin August 15.

Mark Wahlberg’s “Deepwater Horizons” Rush Casting Call in Nola for Extras

The feature film “Deepwater Horizons” is in production in New Orleans and has a call out for paid extras to work on the film.

The film is seeking to cast local male extras to work this week. Central Casting is looking for men and women of any ethnicity between the ages of 20 and 59. This is a rush call and those applying must be prepared to be called in tonight or tomorrow morning.

Lionsgate, Participant Media and Lorenzo di Bonaventura are producing “Deepwater Horizon.” The film details the 2010 explosion on the BP rig in the Gulf of Mexico that resulted in the biggest oil spill in U.S. history . The accident also caused the deaths of 11 workers and injuring 17 others. An estimated 3.19 million barrels of oil (133.9 million gallons) spewed into the Gulf of Mexico, destroying fisheries, choking wildlife and spoiling countless miles of wetlands and beaches.

“Deepwater Horizon” is filming in the NOLA area this spring/summer and will be hitting movie theaters on Sept. 30, 2016. The film is based on the 2011 New York Times article “Deepwater Horizon’s Final Hour,” by David Barstow, David Rohde and Stephanie Saul. Matthew Michael Carnahan is writing the script. According to the film’s IMDB page, the cast includes Dylan O’Brien, Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell , Gina Rodriguez and John Malkovich.

Wahlberg stars as the No. 2 manager on board the rig during the tragedy. The film will show what happened on the doomed rig 48 hours before the explosion as well as the events that took place on the day of the disaster. It will also focus on the acts of heroism that occurred during and after the explosion as rescue crews worked to save the oil workers in the water.

Please note that the movie ids filming around the NOLA area and only local talent will be considered for the parts.

Auditions for Film “The Hit” in Miami

Michelle, a successful hitman for the Sperduti crime family, begins to eye retirement when suddenly one twist of fate during a seemingly routine job changes everything.

Michelle ,a eternally sarcastic and quirky, went to community college and though she showed an aptitude for for many things in school he was an average student. Her parents and most of her family are in Chicago but she often tells people ,even those closest to her at his job that her parents are dead or he has no family. He took online classes to become a Nurse and during the short time she was hired she showed a natural ability for assisting and understanding surgical procedures. This bothered many doctors and the kept her out of the ER and pigeonholed her to septuagenarian work.
During this she meets and elderly man named Marcio whom she befriends and convinces that her passion and skills can be used elsewhere ,offering her a job. After an altercation with a doctor,Michelle decides to quit and take Sperduti up on his offer. Michelle quickly comes the most feared hitter in NYC

[MONGO] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 40-45]
Mongo is not dumb but rather loyal and obedient. Focused on what he is told. Any other path other than what he is told to do leads to him annoys him
Mongo grew up in the Sperduti Crime family. He has no real aspirations for anything more than being a goon and contract killer. It’s the family business and he is all about the family name. His first kill was with his bare hand at 15, demonstrating his size and strength.
When his father ( Sperduti’s) brother passed away. Mongo was taken in and essentially raised by Marcio as his own.

[SPERDUTI] [GENDER:MALE] [50s]
Sperduti’s lineage and his crime family can be traced back to the First World War when his family were fresh off the boat. Sperduti , a low level goon at the time ,took his fathers place after his four brothers put a hit out on him. To keep that from happening to him he then subsequently has then all killed and has been in power ever since.
Hustle,loyalty and respect. He is uneven at times to the point of being manic. Can be calm one minute and be angry to the point of rage the next.

[JOHN] [GENDER:MALE] [18-22]
Numb to the world of crime around him. Honest and to the point. Stoic
John has been in and out foster care his entire life. He doesn’t know his parents who left him at a hospital when he was born.Every family he has been adopted into has had a criminal connection to it. A connection he has come to use to his advantage in terms of survival. He was first adopted by a Native American family with underworld ties who taught him everything. He never looked back.
Now he was adopted by “The Fat Man” who sees him as sole a tax break and write off. This is the second longest length of time he has been with a family before they are eventually arrested or killed off.

Paranoid, nervous and slight OCD.
Heavy Set. Not obese but obvious not in good health. Thinning to no hair and he looks greasy like a bath wouldn’t be enough.
Became the accountant for a Rival crime family after being accused of steal from the Sperduti crime family. He traded secrets for protection and he was given that, a smoking hot wife and a kid as a write off per his request.
