Get cast in a small role in the upcoming “24” TV show.
24, the popular TV series which starred Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer is getting a reboot with a new cast that will try to beat the clock once again.
“24: Legacy” is now filming episodes for season 1 in Atlanta and there are casting calls out for ATL locals who would like to work on set as TV extras.
The new series premieres right after the Superbowl and is being executive produced by Kiefer Sutherland. According to the FOX website for the show, 24: LEGACY chronicles an adrenaline-fueled race against the clock to stop a devastating terrorist attack on United States soil. The show will be following the same format that the original series did in which the episodes where set in a real-time format and the action in every episode was set withing a window of an hour. The series is being produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and Teakwood Lane with Howard Gordon, Brian Grazer, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, Stephen Hopkins and Kiefer Sutherland named as executive producers. Stephen Hopkins is directing.
24 Legacy stars Corey Hawkins as Eric Carter, a members of an elite squad of U.S. Army Rangers. Corey Hawkins starred in the movie “Straight outta Compton” as well at the popular The Walking Dead TV show. Also in the 24 Legacy cast is “Homeland” actress Miranda Otto who plays Rebecca Ingram, an ambitious intelligence officer who left her post and gets recruited by Carter. Rounding out the main cast are Jimmy Smits who plays Ingram’s husband, Senator John Donovan, Teddy Sears, Dan Bucatinsky , Anna Diop, Ashley Thomas, Charlie Hofheimer, Coral Pena and Sheila Vand.
Georgia’s Central Casting office has released casting notices for “24 Legacy“ and anyone interested in getting cast in the new “24,” may also stop by their offices in order to register. Registration is free and interested Atlanta area talent need to call, email or come in because the series is already filming.
