Claw Crew Open Auditions

The Memphis Grizzlies Claw Crew, a vital part of the game-day experience, embodies the spirit of the team through their electrifying performances and engaging interactions with fans. Comprising talented individuals with diverse backgrounds, the Claw Crew energizes the arena with their dynamic dance routines, acrobatic stunts, and infectious enthusiasm. Their presence adds an extra layer of excitement to every game, rallying the crowd and creating memorable moments for fans of all ages. Beyond their on-court performances, the Claw Crew serves as ambassadors for the team, spreading positivity and fostering a sense of community both inside and outside the arena.

Team members will have the opportunity to work at over 100 promotional appearances and 41 games a season. Weekly rehearsals are not typical, but rehearsals may be required as needed. This is a part-time paid position.

Open Call:

Date: Saturday, August 3

Registration: 12:30 – 1:30 PM

Auditions: 1:30 – 4:30 PM

Location: “Soundstage” – 3637 Park Ave, Memphis, TN 38111

Auditions are closed to the public. Attire for auditions is comfortable clothing with sneakers; no jeans are allowed. Judges are evaluating personality, teamwork, professionalism, active listening skills, and enthusiasm.

Males and Females Ages 18 +
Flexible Schedule: Must be able to attend at least 3 events and 3 games a month
Must be able to attend rehearsals as needed
Must be willing to act as needed to fulfill in-game activations. (T-Shirt toss, Dance Cam, Sponsor activations etc.)
Must have reliable transportation
Comfortable being on camera
Must be able to lift at least 25lbs and meet the physical demands for a fast-paced environment with long periods of standing
Some knowledge of NBA Basketball and Grizzlies Team & History is required
