Pageant of the Masters Open Casting Call for 2025: Join the Magic of Living Art!
The iconic living art exhibition which happens annually in the OC is once again holding an open casting call for models. This unique show uses live models to recreate the works of the masters in a living art exhibition that takes place in Laguna Beach, CA.
The iconic Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach invites volunteers to its annual Open Casting Call, January 10–12, 2025.
This year’s summer production, Gold Coast: Treasures of California, seeks participants for both on-stage and behind-the-scenes roles in this renowned showcase of tableaux vivants, where art literally comes to life.

While all models are volunteers, the opportunity is amazing and models chosen will be transformed into characters from from the art of the masters.
On-Stage Roles: Volunteers will pose in live recreations of famous works of art, bringing them to life under the spotlight.
Backstage Opportunities: For those who prefer working behind the scenes, roles are available in makeup, headpiece creation, and costume design.
No prior theater experience is needed—training will be provided to all volunteers. The Pageant welcomes people of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. Bring friends, family, or neighbors to audition together for this unique experience. Flexible substitute and backup positions are also available, ideal for those who can’t commit to the full schedule but still wish to contribute.
Casting Call Details:
Location: 650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, CA
Dates and Times:
- Friday, January 10: 7–9 p.m.
- Saturday, January 11: 7–9 p.m.
- Sunday, January 12: 2–5 p.m. (featuring the Family Fun Fest!)
During the Casting Call, volunteers will have their photos taken and measurements recorded to assist with costume and set preparation. Attendees will also enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the artwork featured in the upcoming 2025 production.
