Chicago PD – Extras casting Notice.
Chicago P.D. is currently in production in the Chicagoland area and the NBC police procedural drama is looking for background actors to fit certain roles. Please note that you must actually live in the Chicago, Illinois area in order to be considered as no travel costs are being paid.

Chicago PD – Seeking 6-18 year olds for upcoming episode.
We are filming a scene at a museum in the upcoming episode of Chicago PD and are currently accepting submissions from background actors ages 6-18, that are still in school. This is open to any gender, any ethnicity. If you are 18 and have graduated high school, please wait until general submissions begin to submit.
OPEN / GENERAL SUBMISSIONS WILL BEGIN CLOSER TO THE START OF THE EPISODE. WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING MINOR SUBMISSIONS AT THIS TIME.
Children ages 6 through 15 will need a minor permit in order to work. If you need instructions on how to obtain a permit, please email cpdbackground@gmail.com. Ages 16+ do not need a work permit.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Filming is scheduled for Monday, December 1st.
We are expecting to wrap around 11pm, and Illinois law requires a 12-hour turnaround for minors to return to school after working.
This means if we wrap at 11pm, they are not supposed to be back in school until 11am the next day. In this scenario, we must have the children return to “set school” with us the next day so they can get the required school hours met. Attendance will be taken and submitted in a production report.
In order to be considered for this booking, you must be available both Monday 12/1 for filming, and Tuesday 12/2 to come to “set school.”
This is required to stay compliant with Illinois Labor Laws.*
Filming on Monday will be on location, and Tuesday’s “set school” will be at Cinespace. BOTH ARE PAID DAYS. We will also have catered meals for both the children and parents on these days.
Pay for ages 6-15: $160/8 (each day)
Pay for ages 16-18: $132.80/8 (each day)
