Audition for “Trip In’ Time” with Groovy Afternoon
New England’s premiere Woodstock Era Tribute, Groovy Afternoon, will be holding auditions for actors for their theatrical stage show, ‘Trip In’ Time’ at the Cotuit Center for the Arts (4404 Falmouth Road, Cotuit, MA 02635) on Monday evening, August 8 from 6-9pm.
The production is seeking 12-15 actors of varied ages, genders and ethnicities who are fun loving and uninhibited. The roles are all non-scripted but will require some improv, dance and movement skills. The production is set in the late 1960s, early 1970s. There are no roles available for children. Especially seeking two African American males.
The show will be presented one night only – Friday September 9, 2011 There will be a couple of rehearsals in the two weeks prior to the performance.

“Trip In’ Time” is a theatrical road trip back to the Woodstock era, journeying across America with Groovy Afternoon through the iconic songs of the period from its most legendary artists. Using multimedia, theatrical elements and hard rocking flower power, the group will bring a dose of drama to the concert to transport their audience right back to the time of Peace Love and Music.
