The Amazing Race is holding tryouts and looking for adventurers who may be able to compete in a reality TV national race around the world. Do you have what it takes to win “The Amazing Race”? Maybe you do and maybe you don’t but the only way to find out is to attend the open casting call and see in the shows casting directors think you can!
The auditions for The Amazing Race are coming to Texas!
This isn’t a lone race, you will need a partner. You and your partner have a chance to audition for the show to prove that you are the competitive couple that can do it. Teams can be made of anyone with a pre-existing relationship such as mother/son, father/daughter, couples, friends, co-workers, etc. Whatever it is, they do need 2 of you who will do it together to outrace and outwit your competition.
So, are you ready for the race of your lifetime…. and yest, the race winners will take home some great cash!

from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event will be held by CBS and you will have a minute to convince the casting staff of why you and your partner are perfect for the show – and have the ability to outrace your opponents to win the huge prize of $1 million at the end of the game.

The Amazing Race takes teams of two people and pits them in a race around the world in competition with other teams. There are pit stops where racers need to figure out where the next destination is and coming in last may get you eliminated from the show. Every week some team gets eliminated until few teams are left to go for it and beat the others to a final destination that they need to figure out.
Mode of transport differs and it could be anything from planes, trains, autos, or even a long hike.
The auditions in Texas will be held on June 9 2012! There will most likely be many people there to tryout for the show so it is best to get there at the earliest time allowed just to make sure that you get seen.
