Mindplay is a local computer software development company with the goal of assisting people to overcome the challenges of learning to read. We are looking for an adult male or female, who is not of Caucasian descent, to be our next “Virtual Coach” for an upcoming educational software release. Filming is planned to commence in the next 6 weeks.
About Mindplay
MindPlay Virtual Reading Coach (MVRC) teaches fluent reading to everyone, from early learners to adults. Because MVRC begins with an assessment to identify each student’s instructional needs, the student is assigned an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) with specific lessons and activities that will fill those gaps in the areas of Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluency, and Comprehension.
The actor/actress must speak fluent English, be able to read from a teleprompter, and be available to work during normal business hours. Talent will be compensated at a rate of $50 per hour. Approximately 16 hours of recording time is estimated for the project.
