NBC’s newest comic book based TV show “Constantine” is now casting season 1.
The show films in the Atlanta area and a new casting call came out today for background actors. The series is seeking to cast adults who can play hillbilly, backwoods and church types. For the hillbilly types they are seeking adults, 18+ who have a unique look. For the men, they would like to see character faces with some facial hair.
The NBC series “Constantine” is based on DC Comics’s “Hellblazer” series which follows a British conman turned evil fighter, John Constantine. Most people remember the Keanu Reeves film from the mid 2000’s also called “Constantine“ where Keanu played cigarette chain smoking, exorcism specialist John Constantine. According to previous reports from the shows producers, the TV series will follow the comic book story closer than the film did and feature many of the characters that appeared in the “Hellblazer” comics.
Not a backwoods type? It’s OK because they are also seeking some straight as an arrow, conservative church types. The scenes will be filming on the 11th and 12th of this month and MHC is booking right now so get your submission out ASAP if interested.
