Casting for a short 15-minute film titled “Drama Free” that will be entered into a contest. Non-union shoot, unpaid, but you will be credited and a copy of the film will be provided for reel material. Shooting will be in the DC area on the weekends of October 15 and 22. Food and drinks will be provided for cast and crew.
Auditions will be held at:
Mt. Pleasant Library
Saturday, September 24 2:30-5pm Conference Room 1
Sunday, September 25 2-4:30pm Large Meeting Room
Come with a headshot/resume and be prepared to do a short contemporary monologue. Sides will be provided at the audition. Recommend arriving early to ensure you get seen.
Seeking actors for the following roles. Actors in their 20’s will be considered for teenage roles, provided they look young.
- CINDY, lead, beautiful Asian girl, 16-18 years old, tall, slender, smart. Is normally quiet and polite but has a bit of an edge lurking underneath the surface. Gives off an ice queen vibe.
- ALEC, 16-18 years old, male, average height and build, a bit of a loner and socially awkward. Can be any ethnicity, but Asian males strong encouraged to apply.
- JASON, tall middle-aged business man, 50-60’s years old, slightly overweight but is in good shape. Can be any ethnicity.
- MICHELLE, 16-18 years old, girl, social, talkative, typical popular girl and a friend of Cindy’s. Can be any ethnicity.
- TIFFANI, 16-18 years old, girl, social and talkative like her friends but more relaxed and willing to follow, also a friend of Cindy’s. Can be any ethnicity.
