“Hunted” – Short Film

Our student project is a short film titled Hunted, which tells the story of a middle aged man who comes to find himself lost in the midst of a never ending forest. He is forced to act upon all his wits and character when an unknown entity decides to target him as its prey.
The film is set entirely within Formby forest and so we will only be using the one location which also means we will only need one day of shooting, however applicants must be open to re-shoots if necessary.
Two characters are needed for the shoot, one male and one female.
The male character is that of Raymond, the lead role who is a middle aged man between the ages of 40-60. Applicant must be of a good level of fitness and agility, as the role will involve fast paced movement throughout the day. Please provide your own outfits, ideally something which a mature look eg. shirt, jumpers. However please ensure you are comfortable and fully flexible in your outfit.
The female character is that of Cheryl, a woman between the ages of 25-40. Only involved in one scene which can be shot early on to avoid being dragged around for the remainder of the shoot. Will also be needed for voice recordings. Applicant must provide their own outfit, ideally formal attire eg. secretary, shirt, trousers/skirts, glasses (not necessarily prescription).
Both actors must have suitable footwear for forest walking, as to avoid injury.
Shooting dates will be set in early April and will be confirmed to applicants at auditions.
