Story line:
There are times that characters and stories are only created to urge audience judgment. This story could be defined as such.
Reflection is the story of Carla, a young beautiful woman, who shows up on a film studio to be part of the extra actors in a scene. She hopes that this will be a start to find a new path for her life. However, The way that she is being treated on this mid-budget film set is far from her expectations. This conduct only causes disappointed and discouragement in her decision towards a new way of living.
Carla.
Female, Any ethnicity (South American is preferred), 23-30.
Carla is a strong, harsh girl on the surface with a vulnerable character on the inside. She feels unconfident and confused about herself as the result of the path that she has chose for her life. She hopes to change things for the better and thinks of this acting opportunity more than just a gig.
Alex
Any Ethnicity, 25-35
Alex is an assistant director on a mid-budget film set who is trying with all his effort to lead a perfect set. He is impatient and hardworking which sometimes causes some harshness in dealing with other people
We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This
is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the
finished film for their demo reel.
- Meals and beverages will be provided on the shoot days.
- If transportation is required we can arrange for a ride for the actor during filming.
