Carnival Cruises Auditions for Singers and Dancers Coming to Atlanta

Carnival Cruise casting directors are coming to the Atlanta area.

The company will be holding auditions for singers and dancers to work on board the cruise ships as they travel the world. The shows are seeking experienced performers who can both sing and dance. There are 2 calls – On September 9th in the Atlanta area. Carnival Cruises will be auditioning talent, singers that can also dance and dancers who are able to sing. Requirements:

Experienced dancers with strong ability in lyrical, jazz and hip-hop that sing should apply. Please prepare 2 songs that best display your vocal range and style, accompanist provided or you may use your own pre-recorded tracks, no a capella. Select candidates will be invited to the dance call later that day where technical exercises & contrasting combinations will be taught. Please dress in close fitting dance attire.

Headshot and resume required.

We offer competitive pay, room and board, and other benefits. Seeking performers who are at least 18 years of age are invited to our open calls. Keep in mind we are looking for high quality triple-threat performers with contemporary vocal and dance experience. You do not need to apply or register in advance for open call auditions. Singers Who Dance and Dancers Who Sing candidates will have to prepare for both vocal and dance sessions.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to start time for check-in and warm-up. Keep in mind these are closed auditions so friends and family must wait outside. Depending on the amount of applicants, open calls may last 3 to 5 hours. Final selections are made that same day.

Choose a song and download the musical track as well as the sheet music. The songs under the track marked with an “M” (for example, M1) are male songs and the tracks marked with “F” (for example, FC) are female songs. We will have the tracks available for use at the audition. Accompanist will NOT be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.

Singers and Singer/Dancers: Prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre song showing range and personality. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided. In addition, please prepare two selections from our website. Marvel Universe Live! is holding auditions for stunt performers and gymnasts… parkour, martial arts, skateboarders, motorcycle riders and more. Marvel Universe Live! is a national touring arena stunt spectacular. The show features all of the Marvel Universe heroes and villains in live battles on stage. Marvel Universe Live offers performers 12 month contracts and paid international travel.

Feld Entertainment® is seeking male and female action performers, martial artists, gymnasts, acrobats, and trickers, who are 5’ 4” and taller, for the touring arena stunt spectacular, Marvel Universe Live, featuring dozens of the famed Marvel superheros and villains. Ideal candidates would possess stage combat experience in addition to training in one or more of the following disciplines: harness flying, martial arts, parkour, gymnastics, trick skateboarding, or motorcycle riding (freestyle, trials, motocross, and tricks are a plus). Stunt training and experience with high falls, fire burns, whips, and rappelling is a huge plus.

Contracts will run approximately 12 months with competitive pay, benefits, and domestic and international travel. Please bring to the audition a non-returnable headshot and resume. We will also accept demo reels or performance clips of stunts or tricks that are unable to be demonstrated at the audition. All performers will be asked to learn a basic stage combat routine, and be assessed on basic stunt skills and ability to take direction and work with others. Some performers may be asked to demo their floor tumbling, or tricking, or highest level martial arts maneuvers following the stage combat routine.

Fear City haunted house is seeking performers for the upcoming 2015 season. With new frights and sights, it’s a perfect time to join in on the fun and be part of the 13th Floor legacy.

The performance department will be holding auditions at 8240 Austin Ave, Morton Grove, IL 60053 on July 22nd and July 29th from 6pm-8pm and in August every Wednesday from 6pm-8pm and every Saturday from 12pm-3pm. All applicants will be subject to a background check and must be 16 years of age by September 15, 2015.

You must be at least 16 years of age to audition. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you are able to move freely and be active in. You don’t need to wear a costume. We actually prefer that you don’t.

You don’t need to prepare a monologue or bring in head shots and a resume. You just show up and we’ll walk you through the rest. When you show up we’ll have you fill out an application, then walk you through what we do here and what we’re looking for. After that we’ll bring you to a scene and have you show us how you’d scare in the haunted house.

Actors may audition in person every Wednesday in August between 6 PM and 8 PM & Saturdays 12 PM to 3PM. Auditions will also be held on July 22nd and July 29th from 6pm-8pm.
