Beat Shazam will be coming back for a new season in 2025. Online applications are currently open and those interested can apply for an audition online, through the form they have set up.
Casting directors for the FOX game show have put up a new online contestant audition form for season 8. The announcement was short – “Jamie and Corinne are back for season 8.”
Beat Shazam season 7 concluded last fall. The show normally premieres in the spring and runs through late summer/early fall. So, if FOX follows the same pattern, so expect that season 8, will be premiering on FOX in May or early June, 2025.
Beat Shazam is FOX’s hit interactive music game show hosted by Jamie Foxx, where teams of two compete to identify hit songs faster than the competition. The ultimate challenge is to “beat Shazam,” the popular music-identifying app, for a chance to win a life-changing cash prize of up to $1 million.
The game:
In Beat Shazam, three teams of two players compete to identify hit songs across four rounds, earning money for every correct answer. Furthermore, after the final round, the top-scoring team advances to face off against the Shazam app (Yes, you have to also beat the Shazam App.)
In this ultimate challenge, the team must correctly identify up to six songs faster than Shazam. For those that can actually beat the Shazam App, there is a $1,000,000 prize.
