The new series “The Mysteries of Laura” starring Debra Messing is casting for an ice skating scene.
The show’s casting directors at GWC are looking for kids 10 to 12 years old who have some ice skating experience as well as their parents to be extras in the scene. The scene will be filming on the 8th of next month in the New York City area.
THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA stars Emmy Award-winner Debra Messing (Will & Grace)as Laura Diamond, a homicide detective with the NYPD. Laura juggles 2 full time jobs, her police career and raising her twins. Her soon to be ex-husband is also a cop and if her life wasn’t complicated enough, her ex also becomes her boss at the precinct. Laura pulls it all of, but not always smoothly and luckily she has an understanding partner.

Seeking kids ages 10-12 along with their parents to portray ice skating rink attendees. Looking for kids and parents who have REAL ice skating experience for the new NBC show Mysteries of Laura. The scene shoots on Monday 12/8 in the NYC area.
Must be from the tri state area. If interested and available, please email mysteries@gwcnyc.com with the following information: Name of you and your child, phone#, whether you guys are SAG-AFTRA or NON UNION, please list ice skating experience (be specific), whether or not you and your child own your own skates, and if your child has a valid work permit and trust account set up. Must also attach a current picture of you guys.
