Extras in Atlanta for “Vampire Diaries” spin-off, “The Originals”
The Originals, filming in Atlanta is seeking male and female background actors between the ages of 20 and 60 for a NOLA street scene. The production is also looking for real chess players in the Atlanta area.
This is a rush call for work tomorrow and they are seeking some edgy, artsy types as well as some general tourists. This will work in Conyers, Georgia area.
The extras casting director for the project is Atlanta’s Tammy Smith. If interested be sure to apply ASAP are they are booking this scene this afternoon.

NOLA Street pedestrians and tourists and edgy/artsy types!
in CONYERS, GEORGIA
Casting for WOMEN and MEN, ages 20 to 60 to be some local NOLA types and some edgy/artsy types as well as some normal tourists or residents of the city
(FILMING IN CONYERS GEORGIA)
NOTES:
-This is daytime filming STARTING IN THE MID-AFTERNOON and will film until 9pm or so
– A FEW of you will be booked WITH your cars, so please list CAR info as requested below
-New faces OR repeats ok, as long as you were NOT there today or have not been featured or anyone that plays another specific featured group of extras on the show…you know who you are!!
-Pay rate is $60 for 8 hrs with OT after that. IF selected to be booked with your car, there is an add’l car $bump
– THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE CALL- if it is raining, we will play as “IT’S RAINING”

for “The Originals”- REAL CHESS PLAYERS NEEDED
for this FRIDAY 5/16
in MONROE, GEORGIA (near Conyers)- DAYTIME FILMING
Casting MEN that are REAL CHESS PLAYERS, any ethnicity, ages 18-80!!
to be featured extras playing a game of chess- we need REAL CHESS PLAYERS for the tech advising aspects of the game for the scene as well. We will be choosing one that is older man, age 65 and over that is playing against a younger man!
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
- if you know anyone that is older that plays chess and doesn’t drive, and you also want to work as an extra, in this case, we can book you as an extra on that day (regular rate of $60) AND that older person to make it easy for transportation, etc.
- Photos need to be selected and we will notify you if you are being submitted to the director and producers.
- Pay rate is $125 (with overtime after 8 hrs- you must be available the entire day, as a normal film day can run up to 12 hrs approx)
