“American Crime” Season 2 Casting Call in Austin and San Marcos Areas

Season 2 of ABC’s Television Series “American Crime” is about to begin filming in Austin and San Marcos

The new season of the show is about to start filming in Texas and is accepting submissions from local talent to fill various small roles in the new season’s episodes. Brock / Allen Casting currently needs paid background extras to play teens / high school students, high school teachers, school faculty, parents and baseball game fans in the first few episodes.   American Crime”  recently held an open casting call for basketball players and is now accepting general submissions. The show will be filming all the way through the fall months and wraps in December, so Austin area talent will most likely have quite a few chances to get into the act as more casting calls should be getting released as filming progresses.

American Crime‘” – The anthology series is created by John Riddley (12 Years a Slave) and focuses on  some heavy topics including racial tension in America. The first season of the show involved a brutal crime that ripped a community apart and divided them across racial lines in the aftermath. Season 2 of “American Crimewill have an entirely new story and a new set of characters. Much like the popular “American Horror Story” series, “American Crime”  will have the cast taking on new characters this season. The show stars Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, W. Earl Brown, Richard Cabral, Caitlin Gerard, Benito Martinez, Penelope Ann Miller, Elvis Nolasco and Johnny Ortiz. The show is produced by ABC Studios and distributed by Disney – ABC Domestic Television.

Brock/Allen Casting is currently casting and looking for Paid Background Extras in the Austin, Texas area.

Filming begins August 17th through December 10th, Monday through Friday
Background Extras will be paid $64/8 hours guaranteed, plus overtime if filming goes past 8 hours.
Looking for people to portray High School Students, Teachers, High School Staff, Faculty, Parents, Fans at Basketball Games, and more!
