“Vikings” Season 4 is now filming in Ireland and is looking to cast extras in the area
The show has been filming around the Wicklow and Dublin areas and is now in need of AFRICAN, ASIAN, ARABIC, MUSLIM, MEDITERRANEAN, CARIBBEAN, SOUTH AMERICAN etc. for upcoming scenes. The extras casting directors are now taking submissions via snail mail and have created a form that talent can print out and send in to be considered for the show. The CD’s are only interested in talent from Ireland and talent applying must have the paperwork to legally be able to work in Ireland.
Vikings will be returning to the History channel in 2016. The show includes quite an international cast and is directed by Michael Hirst (The Tudors). “Vikings” stars Travis Fimmel as Ragnar, a Viking who has been rising to power quickly by killing his competition. In season 1 Ragnar was a farmer who killed an Earl and took his title, by the end of season 3 he has killed his way up… all the way to king. His quest for land and power takes him and his group on a journey to England and at the end of the current season the Vikings would have made their way to France. Judging by the latest casting call, they may be travelling even further in season 4. Season 4 will most likely include some huge battle scenes as well. The show held an open call a some months back in Dublin where casting directors stated they needed around 8000 extras for the new season. The show began production in April and will continue filming through December of 2015. The new season of the show will premiere in early 2016.

Thanks for the opportunity, love the show, inspired actor myself. Did not know were my ethnicity would fit in. The more I think about it they did travel all over and it’s missed or not taught in history anymore. Thanks for the great job, Love your movies. My family is involved in acting also.
