AMC’s “Halt & Catch Fire” is now filming season 3 in Atlanta and there is a new call out for talent
The show’s extras casting directors are seeking to fill a few roles for a shoot coming up. They are seeking to fill a featured role of one of the main characters girlfriends, men and woman for an upscale party scene, extras to play food servers, some high end, 80s type cars and a swimmer. Please see the casting notice below for all the details and instructions on how to submit your photos to the show’s casting directors.
Halt & Catch Fire is set in 1983 so casting is looking for people who can pass as being from that time period. The show films in the Atlanta area and casting directors are only interested in people who live in the Atlanta area or within a very reasonable driving distance. Please do not apply if you are from out of town .
This is for paid extra work. Most TV show extras can expect to work 8 to 12 hours and pay is about minimum wage with overtime if the shoot goes over 8 hours.
The series is set in the 80’s and chronicles the rise of personal computers and the boom in the computing industry. – “Halt and Catch Fire” dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. Their personal and professional partnership will be challenged by greed and ego while charting the changing culture in Texas’ Silicon Prairie. – AMC

FOR NEXT Thursday 4/14 — looking for men women 30’s to 60’s — for a VERY upscale party — super good looking — super rich looks — 1986 attire so we will be dressing most but need to look the part — no men over 44 Jacket no ladies over a 6 dress — Some very featured spots available — RICH in Subject
Also looking for a super attractive — women 20’s to 30’s — busty and a size 6 dress or less to portray a featured girlfriend — GIRLFRIEND in Subject
Looking for handsome real experienced server 20’s to 40’s and a waitress — both again with some real experience — SERVER in Subject
