Extras Wanted on NBC Show “Chicago Med”

11/06/2018

NBC’s “Chicago Med” has a casting out for extras.

The show’s casting directors have just released casting notices for scenes that will be filming  in the Chicagoland area. The show needs lots of talent to work as paid background extras. There is a call out for general extras who are available to work in scenes on various days this week or next.  Please see the casting notices listed below for all the details.

Chicago Med  is created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead. The show is a spin-off of NBC’s popular drama series “Chicago Fire” (which is also filming right now).  “Chicago Med” is described as “an emotional ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city’s most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors that holds it together”.  In the series premiere, the grand opening of Chicago Med’s emergency department is interrupted by victims of an “L” train crash, pushing the staff to their limits.

Chicago Med”  is the 2nd “Chicago Fire” spin-off Dick Wolf has created for NBC. Just like “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.“, the addition of”Chicago Med” will include crossover episodes that will tie all 3 shows together.

I have worked as an extra on Chicago Fire, & Med, and I would love to be booked again for any role you may be seeking to fill. I am not afraid of being covered in blood, scared, or even playing a corpse, or having a fake IV & tube in the nose or mouth. I am very familiar with hospital techniques in surgery and the waiting room, I supervised the CardioThoracic research lab at Northwestern for over 20 years, and I can also portray a doctor.

hey I love all the Chicago shows and I watch them all the time even reruns. I live in Rockford and cant believe they limit the casting calls to Chicago only. I would love to be an extra on one of the shows. I would drive in just for the opportunity to do so. I’m retired and could spend all day and night for any thing. I could be travel from out of town that had an accident or robber or a scam artist or what ever… and even if you don’t pick me at least widen your range for casting other people would love to be on the show as well .
