SYNOPSIS: An elderly father who, after discovering he has a life threatening disease, makes one last desperate attempt to restore his damaged relationship with his daughter.

Joseph Aldrete: 67-70, Male, UNPAID
A quiet yet loving father who, due to the sudden death of his wife, lives in self-inflicted solitude. He doesn’t know how to cope with the overwhelming hurt and loneliness that he feels, so he refuses to address his emotions entirely. He doesn’t understand why he and his daughter have drifted apart, however, he craves to reestablish his presence in her life. She’s all he has left.
Amelia Aldrete: 32-35, Female, UNPAID
Joseph’s daughter, a driven and self motivated woman who strives for perfection in her daily life. She is aware of the emotional baggage and hurt she carries due to the neglect from her father, however, she doesn’t know how to resolve the pain. She hopes moving to New York will give her the peace of mind she desires.
Rita Frita: 40-43, Female, UNPAID
A cardiologist who has a kind and gentle spirit. She strives to treat every patient with the best care and a warm smile. She lost her mother to cancer when she was in middle school, so she understands the pain loss brings. She will do everything in her power to prolong the time a family has together.
