Casting “The Revolutionaries,” a comedy short that follows two radically unproductive anarchists as they plot a revolution in a squatted home.
MILES: A pot-smoking, dumpster diving idealist, he’s got greasy hair, groggy eyes, there’s a 75% chance that he’s wearing a flannel at any given moment, he might not brush his teeth all the time, but he’s always checking his privilege; he would tell you that, “It’s not like, about who I am, though. It’s like, about how effectively I can channel the cause through my actions?”
LISA: A massage-therapy school dropout, gentle, kind, but maybe a little too concerned about her dog’s preferred gender pronouns; although she lives in a squatted house and eats from the dumpster, she has huge aspirations, changing the world, will she succeed?
